Nerida deJong is a premier artist who lives in the village. Her work has a distinctive style which you will recognize, as we have copies of many pieces of her work in Maison d'Être.
“Le Chapeau Rouge,” seen below captures the view from our lounge window and was painted by Nerida when she and her husband lived at our house, before we bought it from them. “Orchids in St Cirq Lapopie” is of the view from another gite in the village, Villa Petite Chapelle. A giclee of “Affection,” seen below, hangs in our master bedroom. And the bottom work of art is a painting of Maison d'Être. The two houses are joined, the one on the left has the arched door…
